Am I the Kind of Friend I’d Like to Have?

I’ve been thinking a lot about friendship lately and not just in passing. It’s been sitting with me, asking for attention. I even wrote a blog post about it, but there’s still more I want to explore and share.

Years ago, someone asked me, “Are you the kind of wife, sister, daughter, niece, friend you’d want to have?” That has stayed with me. It’s a question I return to often: am I showing up at my best in my important relationships? Sometimes the answer is yes. Other times, there’s a gentle nudge to do better.

I believe friendship is one of the key pillars in overcoming loneliness and isolation. The first two are connection and belonging. Friendship brings connection and belonging to life.

I'd love for you to read the friendship blog and then share your thoughts. What does being a good friend mean to you? Are you the kind of friend you’d want to have?

Let’s start this conversation because building and keeping real friendships matters.

Send me an email, your thoughts are always welcome.

Thank you for being here. I’m  glad we’re connected.

With gratitude, Aderonke
